Overview

This half day program is designed to officially welcome new staff to Monash and to assist their effective orientation by providing information about the university from a number of perspectives. Presenters, including senior executive Monash staff, speak on a wide range of topics from the University's strategic plan, Monash Directions 2025, to university governance, the multicultural and multi-campus nature of the institution and importantly, services and facilities available to staff and students. During morning tea, you will have the opportunity to put names to faces and make a start on your own Monash network.

Intended Outcomes

  •  Increased knowledge and understanding of:
    - the purpose and functions of the University 
    - services and facilities available to staff 
  • Establishment of networks through meeting a number of other Monash 
    staff and managers
