All staff in non- supervisory positions

A program is also available for staff in a supervisory position.

Level 1 program:

Mindfulness, in its simplest defintion is a mental discipline involving training attention. Training through practices like mediation has been found to have a wide number of applications in the modern day.

Overview

This workshop will explore:

  1. the science, principles and practice of mindfulness
  2. its applications in areas including wellbeing, mental health, and resilience
  3. its role in leadership development
  4. the capacity of mindfuless to enhance information processing, decision making and performance.

Course Content

The workshop will be broken into two parts.

Part 1 will be an introduction including the background to mindfulness.

Part 2 will focus on practically implementing mindfulness-based strategies in personal and professional life.
