Overview
This workshop will explore:
- the science, principles and practice of mindfulness
- its applications in areas including wellbeing, mental health, and resilience
- its role in leadership development
- the capacity of mindfulness to enhance information processing, decision making and performance
- what can you do as supervisors, to assist in the embedding of the mindfulness practice
Course Content
The workshop will be broken into three parts.
Part 1 - will be an introduction including the background to mindfulness.
Part 2 - will focus on practically implementing mindfulness-based strategies in personal and professional life.
Part 3 - will showcase strategies/tools/techniques that as supervisors you can incorporate into the team to assist in their adoption of mindfulness.
