TRIM - Central Records - Inquiry User

Target group:

Monash staff members involved with Central Administration who require search, move and view access to central records within TRIM.
(MONASH STAFF ONLY)

Group size:Maximum 4 participants
Level 1 program:

This course is a Level 1 Program and is intended to be a prerequisite course for staff members who intend to become End Users within TRIM.

In conjunction with the online application form (below), participants are also required to complete the Request for TRIM User Access form which can be found via the following link:

Note: This course does not give staff members automatic access to all Central Records, for example, gaining access to research records within TRIM will require further approval by the Research Office.

Overview

Staff members involved with Central Administration are invited to attend TRIM Inquiry User Training.  This course is designed for staff who intend to have ‘view only' access to TRIM to allow them to search, move and view central records within TRIM.

Intended Outcomes

At the completion of TRIM Inquiry User Training, the user will be able to search, move and view central records within TRIM.

Learning Approach

The TRIM Inquiry User Training course combines an introductory presentation with PC based learning, discussion and useful examples.  Learning is further supported by the provision of a User Guide and Quick Reference Guides that each participant can take back to their work space as well as the opportunity for each user to have access to support services such as the TRIM Service Desk.
