Workplace Productivity Programme (WPP)

Objectives

The overall objective of the Workplace Productivity Programme is to:

  • encourage higher education providers to progress workplace reform which strengthens their capability to manage and implement workplace change.

  • to encourage flexible working relationships, direct relationships between employers and employees and improved productivity and performance.

Previous Funding

In Round 1 the Australian Government awarded $60m in 48 projects across 30 universities.

Current Funding

Round 2 will cover funding for the period 2008 - 2010. The internal Monash deadline is 8 May 2007. Submissions will be couriered to DEST on 24 May 2007.

Potential applicants are advised to focus strongly on:

  • Reform

  • Diversity

  • Private Sector Partnerships
