Administration Portfolio Performance Indicators and MetricsIn order to ensure that the aspirations for Monash are being met, the university monitors a number of key and internal performance indicators. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) use data that are publicly available, accepted across the sector enabling time-series evaluation and comparison with Go8 and other competitors, to benchmark against sector-wide standards. Internal Performance Indicators (IPIs) include indicators that are: (1) not publicly available; (2) not used sector-wide; (3) not comparable across the sector; or (4) lacking time series data. These indicators are, in the main, drivers of KPIs and reflect matters of strategic importance to the university. The Administration portfolio reports to University Council, via University Planning and Statistics, on the progress towards performance indicators.
