Motor Vehicle Entitlements

Monash University provides to senior staff who have a contractual entitlement the option of a motor vehicle as part of their remuneration package. The vehicle types that can be selected from are detailed in the contract of employment negotiated between the employee and the university.

To assist you with your selection, information on motor vehicle type can be obtained from our preferred supply manufacturer's websites. Supply contracts have been negotiated with the following manufacturers:

Manufacturer websites may require an up-to-date web browser and flash player.

Once you are satisfied with your preference of motor vehicle and colour (chosen from the manufacturer's website) complete the online Motor Vehicle Selection Form to order your motor vehicle.

The university does not provide for the test driving of motor vehicles, however, staff wishing to do so should contact their local car dealer. The contact details for a number of car dealers located close to Clayton have been provided for your convenience.

Regulations that apply to the use of staff members' private vehicles for university purposes as well as the supply, maintenance and use of university owned vehicles can be viewed in the Motor Vehicle Policy.

If you have any queries relating to salary sacrifice entitlements or any other matter relating to the university's motor vehicle provisions, check out our FAQ page. This page will address many of the concerns you may have about utilising a university motor vehicle.

The Motor Vehicle Policy includes the university's policy in relation to CityLink and related transponder charges. CityLink and E-tag application forms for university motor vehicles are available from this site. For further information about CityLink, visit the Transurban web site.
