University policy - Voluntary early separation payment

An academic staff member who receives notice of termination on the grounds of redundancy and who elects voluntary early separation pursuant to clause 47.6(a) of the Monash University Enterprise Agreement (Academic and Professional Staff) 2009 will be paid by way of policy not only the redundancy benefits in accordance with Table I of clause 47.6 but also payment in lieu of any unexpired portion of four weeks from the staff member's date of receipt of the notice of termination until the date that he/she elects voluntary early separation.
