Recruitment advertising documentationAdvertisement texthe advertisement text should contain a brief statement about the position and the qualifications and skills required to perform the role. Advertisement texts are included in online advertisements such as Seek and Opportunities at Monash. Print advertisements do not include the advertisement text, except for general roles at HEW Level 10 and above and academic roles at Level E. Please note there is no need to create a formatted version of your advertisement as all formatting is done by HR Operations. You only need to supply the advertisement text. All other details about the position are extracted from the Request to Advertise form. Email the advertisement text to adverts@adm.monash.edu.au Position descriptionFor general positions, please ensure the position description is in the current format. For academic positions, a duty statement, containing an overview of the duties and responsibilities of the role including appropriate selection criteria, is required. Position descriptions/duty statements for academic staff should be developed in accordance with the Position Classification Standards. Please ensure the position description is presented professionally, as this document is made available to candidates at the Opportunities at Monash website. Please also ensure that the “track changes” function within the document is disabled before emailing the document to HR Operations. Email the position description in Word format to adverts@adm.monash.edu.au Request to advertise formRequest to advertise forms must be approved by the Dean or Divisional Director before any vacancy is advertised. The form must be fully completed and approved before being forwarded via internal mail to HR Operations, Human Resources Division, 710 Blackburn Road, Clayton Vic 3168. Supporting documentationIf a general appointment is new, please provide a copy of the position classification advice outcome. If the position is vacant due to resignation by the current incumbent, please provide a copy of the incumbent's approved resignation form. If the position is temporarily vacant due to the current incumbent commencing leave, please provide a copy of the approved leave application form. If the position is vacant due to the current incumbent commencing a secondment or another position, please provide a copy of the incumbent's accepted letter of appointment to the secondment or new position. |
