Staff Development Policy
To enable Monash to benefit from the growth and development of its people.
Supporting Research and Analysis
This policy was developed in consultation with the University's Australian, Malaysian and South African campuses.
It replaces a previous version, taking into account the findings of a review of performance management for academic staff (2007) and a University-wide review of staff development (2008).
The Monash University Ethics Statement underpins this policy and does not exclude or replace this policy or its related procedures. In the unlikely event of any inconsistency between the Ethics Statement and this policy, the explicit requirements of this policy shall prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.
